One of my favourite sites is the Daily WTF.  It features true horror stories from the technical trenches, as submitted by avid readers.  Examples of the worst coding skills, the most arrogance and the stupidest people are abound.

A post appeared the other day that is one of my all-time favourites: “Make this your top priority”.  If this one post alone isn’t enough to make you subscribe to the feed, I don’t know what is!

Perhaps the most famous of the entries though are the Paula Bean entries.  Check out “The Brilliant Paula Bean” and “The Brilliant Paula Strikes Back”.

Hilarious.

At the risk of over-doing the Cat/Stuff theme, one of today's entries was great.  Go Dolphins!

My feed reader is jam-packed with feeds that keep me up to date with the latest technologies and news.  I thoroughly enjoy reading through them every day, but just sometimes the deluge of information can get a little much.  ASP.Net this, C# that, Microsoft the other.  Sometimes you just want a posting or two that makes you laugh.

One such feed I like is from www.OverheardInNewYork.com.  People send in snippets of conversations they overheard whilst going about their New York day.  Some of them make your mind boggle as to what exactly was being spoken about.

My favourite site right now though is one that a friend pointed out - it is called www.StuffOnMyCat.com.  It is basically pictures of cats.  With stuff on them.  That's it.  Hilarious.

As a taster, here is one for the drunken gamer in you...

StuffOnMyCat.com

Leave me a comment, let me know which feeds brighten your days!!

I was looking through some old email at the weekend and found a classic example of a "reply all" mistake.  I have pasted the edited thread below, it is in chronological order, and only the names have changed.  The rest is exactly as it happened.  Outstanding.

Leave a comment if you have any better ones.

I usually use a wire brush and comet.  But then I would bleed for a week.  Once the scabs fell off I felt great.

I'm sorry about that.  I replied to the wrong e-mail.   Don't ask.
